Company Description

Responsibilities
* Negotiate and draft software licenses, professional services and support agreements, NDAs, reseller agreements, and other software-related contracts.
* Support sales and services groups in Japan and Asia
* Advise on general corporate and commercial matters, including corporate mergers and compliance.
* Implement and manage export compliance program
* Enforcement of IP rights, including conducting piracy investigations
* Brand registration and protection in Japan and Asia
Requirements
* Minimum 3-4 years transactional or corporate experience
* Business-level fluency in English and Japanese-written and spoken
* Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
* Ability to communicate and work effectively with sales, finance, professional services, operations, and other internal teams in Japan and across Asia
Preferred Experience
* Experience negotiating software licenses and professional service contracts
* Members in good standing in U.S., European, or Japanese bar association
