Responsibilities
*Report to local Accounting Manager
Handle monthly financial reporting / closing
*Responsible for calculations related to tax returns and liaising with tax accountants
*Preparation of financial statements (Japan and U.S. GAAP based)
*Fixed asset accounting
*Maintenance of accounting systems
Requirements
*Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, and/or related field
*3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, and/or related field
*Some knowledge of US GAAP accounting and tax
*Native level Japanese and business level English
Preferred Experience
*Experience in a foreign company
*Qualification such as Nissho Boki Level 2 or equivalent
*Strong IT skills-Excel, Work, accounting systems (SAP preferred)
