Responsibilities
- Being part of regional and global team, provide Third Level Support and administration of Sybase and MS-SQL databases
- Documentation for related infrastructure and installing of Sybase, Sybase Replication server, MS-SQL, MS-Windows, Solaris, Redhat Linux, Solaris
- Seek improvements, provide innovative solutions and implement changes
- Communication with customers for implementation and ensure high quality work in a timely manner
- Excellent communication skills with interacting people at all levels (users, senior management, global counterparts)
Requirements
- University degree and at least 5 years of experience with large enterprises (more than 50 servers)
- An understanding of a UNIX-based operating system (ideally Solaris, Redhat Linux and Windows OS)
- Scripting skills such as perl, Tk,ksh, csh, sh and etc
- Familiar with networking and routing
- Fluent English
Preferred Experience
- Understanding of Investment banking business
- Knowledge in Oracle DBMS
- Japanese is not required, but desirable
