Company Description
Global leader in several niche areas in the pharmaceutical industry is expanding quickly thru organic and inorganic growth.
Responsibilities
- Developing / Negotiating and finalizing strategic alliances with other pharma companies
(Japanese/Foreign)
- Mergers & Acquisitions:Identifying targets, establishing contacts,
negotiating / finalizing arrangements, Due Diligence
- Integrating acquired companies
- Establishing / Maintaining contacts with leading Banks and Consultants for assistance
in M&A activities.
- In-licensing / acquiring specialty products and technologies as per strategic plans.
Requirements
- Kansai base (regular trips to Tokyo)
- a self-starter
- Ability to think / conceptualize and strong implementation skills.
- Relevant contacts in Japan pharma Industry & Regulators
- Some understanding of the pharma Regulatory Approval processes
for various categories of drugs in Japan.
- Track record of successful leadership of high growth companies.
- Advanced or above Japanese ability
- Advanced or above English ability
Preferred Experience
- pharma Senior Management President, V.P, (Director or above) experience (5 yrs+ in a senior level role in pharma)
- Business Development, Strategical Planning, Operations, etc...in pharma in Japan
- M&A experience (acquisition side) in pharma industry in Japan
- Pharma experience a must (Japanese or Foreign pharma OK)
- Experience leading significant growth in a pharma business (prefer business between 75mill$-500mill$ zone)
