* Unique opportunity to work as an in-house M&A manager for a foreign affiliated company
Responsibilities
* As part of our strategic planning, identify and realize strategic business transactions, e.g. M&A, alliances, licensing arrangements, etc., and serve as an in-house M&A expert to lead M&A / strategic alliance execution that includes financial modeling, valuations, negotiations with counterparties, as well as liaison with the Corporate M&A team and other related functions
* Act as key contributor to the development of our long/medium strategic business plan and annual business plan
* Analyze M&A / alliance / and other partnership opportunities and create strategies and business case presented and proposed to the senior management team
* Establish financial modeling to evaluate the value of potential targets
* Play an active role in negotiations with counter parties
* Closely work with the Corporate M&A team to meet internal requirements for M&A transactions
* Train other group members for several analytical methods and communication with management & other functions
* Organize and lead the cross functional project and presentation / meeting with management / other functions
Requirements
* Bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, and/or related field
* Ability to communicate effectively in English and Japanese
* Extensive negotiation experience
* Knowledge of financial analysis (DCF, Public Comparables, etc.)
