Responsibilities
Risk Management Department
* Overall controlling and managing of individual risk management conducted by each department
* Integrated management of capital and risk [overall risk management]
*Overall management of calculating solvency margin ratio
* Operation of Risk Committee
* Assisting confirmation work involving Chief Actuary
* Overall management of liability and IBNR reserves
* Determining calculation procedure of special contracts and prepaid premiums
* Implementation of BCP
Chief Actuary
* Confirmation work for every fiscal term
Confirming the items below:
* Adequacy of level of liability reserve
* Adequacy of liability amount for future asset
* Adequacy of level of IBNR reserve
* Preparation and submission of opinion report
* Preparation of report on results of above confirmation work
* Submission of report to the Board of Directors
* Submission of copy of report to the Financial Services Agency
* Response to FSA hearing concerning the report
* Involvement of below items for each fiscal year
* Premium calculation method
* Liability reserve calculation method
* Calculation of payment reserve
* Other items required for the Chief Actuary in conducting the work
Requirements
* More than 8 years work experience in the non-life insurance industry
* Member of the Institute of Actuaries of Japan - Regular Member
* Experienced in risk analysis
* Graduate of university or graduate school
* Native level Japanese
* Business level English
Preferred Experience
* More than 8 years work experience in the non-life insurance industry
