Responsibilities
* Develop, execute and communicate strategic merchandise financial plans and strategies that support the merchandising, marketing and financial objectives of one or more departments.
* Drive financial results that maximize sales, inventory and bottom line profitability.
* May also manage the activities and career development for one or more Merchandise Planning Analysts.
Requirements
* Native level Japanese is required
* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
* 1-2 years experience as a Planning Analyst or equivalent
* 1-3 years of retail buying, planning or related analytical experience
* Able to formally present business strategies and action plans
* Possesses a clear understanding of financial measurements which could include; sales, gross margin, gross margin return on investment (GMROI), weeks on hand (WOH), weeks of supply (WOS), etc. and how to impact them
* Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Preferred Experience
* Retail or MD planning exp in apparel industry
