Overview
- Responsible for all production in Japan!
Company Description
My client is a global player in the hydraulic and heavy industry area. They have production sites in over 30 different countries, with a business that covers the globe.
Responsibilities
- Control all production and material sourcing issues for Factory. (Approx. 200 employees)
- Create production and material sourcing strategies with a focus on high quality, low cost production.
- Coordinate closely with overseas production sites in China, Korea, and Southeast Asia
- Control all inventory and vendor management for factory
- Discuss and give opinions with Plant Manager on process improvement (Kaizan), and resource investment needs (equipment, employees etc.)
Requirements
- Good understanding of production, and manufacturing resource planning
- English language ability is preferred
- Native Japanese language ability
Preferred Experience
- Experience in mass production type industries (Automotive, machinery, components)
- 5 yrs min exp in Production planning, material planning
- Advanced level exp with ERP systems
