Responsibilities
* Responsible for supporting line managers in a variety of HR activities
* Leading training and development, such as leadership and management training, sales and marketing training, and self directed training support
* Leading compensation and benefits activities, such as performance management, merit increase, variable compensation, pension and other benefits
* Conducting recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, monitors career path program, employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling
* Fostering communication to increase team performance
* Supporting Succession Planning of the organization & talent review
* Developing, recommending and implementing personnel policies and procedures
* Preparing and maintaining handbook on policies and procedures
* Annual re-evaluation of policies for cost effectiveness, and cash flow
* Planing, organizing, and controlling all activities of the HR Div
* Participating in developing department goals, objectives, and systems
* Reporting to Head of HR (APAC)
* Working with the global HR and collaborating with Corporate HR
Requirements
* University degree
* Must have only worked for 3 companies or less
* Minimum 10 years Human Resources Management experience in global company
* Proven ability to manage projects to successful completion, multi-task, and work within tight deadlines
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff
* Exceptional ability to partner across cross-cultural teams and multiple work groups to accomplish assigned tasks and duties.
* Adept at handling multiple competing priorities and duties in a fast-paced, results driven, rapidly changing environment
* Familiarity with HRIS systems
* Native level Japanese and Advanced English (Regional communications)
Preferred Experience
* Hands on managerial experience
* Experience in managing a team of 5
* Experience with change management
* Experience in both foreign and Japanese companies
