Responsibilities
* Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of suppliers for the procured items .
* Improve current machinery designs, promote new technology and source new materials to reduce cost and improve the productivity.
* Work with engineering teams in other regions to identify opportunities to leverage cost savings through global operations
* Engage and facilitate procurement for multiple functions, Facilities, Process Engineering, Safety & Security, Transportation, and IT
* Ensure that FCs always have the required goods / services on hand at the best available prices & terms
* Minimize on-site stock for all materials
* Ensure all projects/requests are accompanied by completion dates and manage multiple priorities therein
* Budget Control
* Supplier quality control
Requirements
* 3 years + exp in sourcing, contracting or supplier management
* Electronic or mechanical background is a plus
* Business level Japanese and English
Preferred Experience
* Mechanical Engineering , Quality Engineer experience
