Overview

Seeking Translator for Web Project

Company Description

Responsibilities

- Providing translation services including review of English and Japanese translations - pertinent to the client's website
- Accurate, high quality English to Japanese translation and English reviewing
- Delivering translation assignments in a timely manner
- Supporting initiatives to improve overall quality of translation service for the Web project
POSSIBILITY TO BECOME PERMANENT AND WILL SHIFT FOCUS TO CUSTOMER SUPPORT
- Email/Telephone/Live Chat Support for inquiries
- Website updates and maintenance
- Document translation E to J and J to E
- Communications with regional offices (APAC, HK, Singapore, etc.)
- Office Administration Duties

Requirements

- Highly Advanced to fluent-level English speaker with Native-level Japanese language skills (especially keigo and high-level of kanji comprehension)
- Experience as a professional translator/reviewer of at least 2-3 years
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at least at general level
- Excellent English and Japanese writing ability (may be assessed by client)

Preferred Experience

- More than 5 years experience of professional translation/document reviewing
- Experience with Financial/Insurance industry translation/reviewing (especially Securities)
- Experience working in an international environment or overseas work experience
