Nick Johnston

Chairman en world Japan K.K. and CEO en-Asia Holdings Limited

Nick has almost 15 years’ experience in recruitment in the Asia Pacific region. He established en world Japan as Wall Street Associates in 1999 and has grown the Japan operations to over 140 employees. After en world was acquired by en-japan in 2010, Nick focused on expanding overseas’ operations. Nick previously worked for the National Westminster Bank’s Financial and Investment Services Department in London for over eight years. Originally from the UK, he currently resides in Singapore with his Japanese wife and their two children. Nick is a committed golfer and marathon runner having completed the Tokyo Marathon three times, raising sponsorship for the Tyler Foundation Shine On! Charity.

Craig Saphin
President and Representative Director

Craig joined en world (formerly Wall Street Associates) in 2007. A member of the Board of Directors, he has overall responsibility for all permanent and contract recruitment in Japan. Prior to en world, Craig gained extensive Sales and Marketing experience in Asia Pacific with roles as EFI Japan President and Senior Director of APAC as well as 9 years experience at Fuji Xerox in Australia. Craig holds an MBA from the University of New South Wales. A fitness enthusiast, Craig hails from Australia and moved to Japan for the 2nd time in 2000 with his wife. In the community Craig is the chair of the B2B Sales committee in the American Chamber of commerce in Japan, Chairs the F&B committee in the Tokyo American Club and is Secretary for the Tokyo B&B Club.

Ken SaitoKen Saito
HR and GA Director

Ken Saito has more than twenty years of experience managing the global human resources for companies in Japan, EU and the Americas. His commitment has benefited the companies he worked with, from development and implementation of reforms, recruiting, development, and talent forecasting. Ken is unique in that he is a true professional of global Human Resources, and at the same time holds management experience in overlooking global organizations. He joined en world (formerly Wall Street Associates) in 2008 and has been a member of the board since June, 2009.


Vijay Deol
Sales Director
Vijay came to Japan as a participant in the the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme in 2002.  He graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Canada and later completed McGill University’s MBA Japan Program. Vijay joined en world (formerly Wall Street Associates) in 2004 as a Consultant focusing on Finance and Accounting positions. Since then, Vijay has placed senior managers in key positions across a range of industries.  He has also been the driving force behind starting new business units based on customer demand such as Supply Chain Management and B-to-B Manufacturing which are now two of the most successful teams in the company. Originally from Alberta, Canada, Vijay has been living in Japan since 2002.

Neal Walters
Sales Director

After working in education for a number of institutions in Osaka, he came to Tokyo to join WSA in 2004. Neal’s focus is to apply creative but effective hiring solutions to solve companies’ Human Resource problems without consuming the client’s time and resources. Neal has been particularly successful in introducing Senior HR professionals to global companies across all industries in the Tokyo market.  With fluent Japanese, and a very broad network in Asia Pacific and Japan, Neal has become a highly valued member of the en world sales force. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Neal has been living in Japan for approximately 15 years based both in Osaka and Tokyo.

Thomas Zelaya
Director of Kansai

Thomas brings wide and unique experience to the recruitment industry, with over 11 years in Japan over 8 years in Osaka. Thomas was a start-up member for the en world Osaka Office (formerly Wall Street Associates) in 2005, and key player for its success. As a result of his achievements in Osaka, Thomas was hand-picked to start up en world‘s Nagoya Office in 2007. After 1 year he then returned to Osaka to run one of the most successful teams in the company. As Director of Kansai, Thomas brings an in-depth knowledge of the Kansai Market as well as a unique understanding of business in the Tokai area. He is fully bilingual in Japanese and English and lives with his family in Osaka, the heartland of Japan.


Bryan Wolfe
Director of Kanagawa Office

After 10 years of honorable service in the United States military, Bryan began his recruiting career in New York City. His clients in New York were Fortune 500 companies and top-tier law firms. He moved to Japan in 2008 and began recruiting here with an international recruiting firm. His recruiting experience in Japan spans Accounting and Finance, HR, Administration, and the legal field. Bryan joined en world (formerly Wall Street Associates) in 2011 and is expanding the business in Kanagawa by focusing his efforts on building strong client relationships and attracting the best and brightest candidates to the Kanagawa market.

Maki Mizuhara
Director of Nagoya Office

Maki Mizuhara spent three years marketing Australian food and consumer products through the Australian Consulate in Nagoya. She later joined Australian Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) as a regional manager to promote Australian beef and lamb in the Chubu region. After leaving MLA, Maki was installed as Trade Commissioner with the Canadian Consulate in Nagoya. During her six years working in the Consulate, Maki successfully handled diplomatic relations, trade promotions, and cultural events including activities in Aichi Expo Canada Pavilion in 2005. In February 2007, Maki joined en world (formerly Wall Street Associates) bringing her proven networking skills and leadership to establish the Nagoya office.
